Understanding the Government's Environmental Permitting framework update.

Coinciding with this year’s Clean Air Day, our next Air Quality group meeting will focus on helping members understand the Government's recent consultation on updating the Environmental Permitting framework, what its next steps are and how members can contribute to the shaping of the updated framework.

For this meeting, we are delighted to be joined by:

- Alex Giles, Head of Industrial Emissions Regulatory Framework and Reporting, Defra

- Louis Parker, CCUS and Data Centre Policy Lead, Defra

We will also be joined by colleagues from the Environment Agency to answer some more technical questions about the operation of the updated Environmental Permitting framework.

Environmental Permitting plays a significant role in tacking air pollution and helping the consulting and engineering industries transition to a more sustainable future. This is a unique opportunity for members to contribute their industry expertise and feed back directly to Government on its future regulatory direction.

The meeting will be held on 18 June, 10:00-12:00 at Ramboll’s London office at 240 Blackfriars Road, London SE1 8NW. Hybrid options are also available.
