GROUPS.

Our groups and taskforces bring our members together to help to formulate policy positions and shape our services.

As well as providing a forum for issues to be discussed with the colleagues from across the environmental sector, they often welcome guests such as policymakers from government or expert speakers from the wider industry. 

Our Climate Change taskforce brings EIC members together with those of sister organisation ACE, to explore how best to deliver the Net Zero built environment of the future.

Laboratory analysis is a technical and specialist group whch carry out testing on soil, water and air samples to measure pollutant levels.

The natural capital group champions issues such as environmental net gain with policymakers, while our waste and resources group encourages innovation in recycling. 

Contaminated land explores the potential for brownfield development, and air quality explores the ways in which technology and innovation can help society to tackle dangerous air pollution.

Finally, our HR forum shares best practice in this area and tackles the major HR issues affecting our industry.
