GREEN INFRASTRUCTURE WEEK 2022
EIC is delighted to share that it is a partner for a new campaign, Green Infrastructure Week. which takes place between 25 and 29 April 2022.
Highlighting the technologies that will be used to deliver the biggest gains in our transition to Net Zero, the week will deliver insight and commentary for the whole ecosystem of people and organisations involved with green infrastructure - everyone from private and public sector clients to developers and investors.
Former Energy Secretary and Green Infrastructure Week advocate, Greg Clark MP said: "I am delighted to see initiatives like Green Infrastructure Week championing the need for further investment in green infrastructure. The UK is in a prime position to capitalise on the move towards Net Zero and ensuring we have the right infrastructure in place will be key to achieving this.”
EIC – along with sister organisation the Association for Consultancy and Engineering (ACE) and its magazine Infrastructure Intelligence – are a partner for the week and will be hosting a number of free-to-attend online events, including a webinar on Net Zero roads with Highways England, and a keynote session on the opportunity for offshore wind.
EIC member AECOM is principal sponsor for Green Infrastructure Week. The week is a sister event to Net Zero Week which this year takes place between 2 and 8 July 2022.
