WEBINAR

HYNET NORTH WEST - UNLOCKING A LOW CARBON HYDROGEN ECONOMY

This is a free-to-attend event is organised by the Wales group of sister organisation, ACE.

Your host Piers Burroughs, chair of ACE Cymru| Wales, will be joined by John Egan of Progressive Energy.

This webinar will provide an opportunity to learn more about this exciting and potentially game changing project which will help realise the potential of the hydrogen economy through the creation of new state-of-the-art infrastructure. This is especially relevant given the Prime Minister's recent 10 point plan on Net Zero which earmarked huge investments in hydrogen.

HyNet North West will play a critical role in the world’s fight against climate change, accelerating the UK’s transition to Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 and will be at the centre of a low carbon hydrogen network which will produce, store and distribute hydrogen to decarbonise the North West of England and North Wales.

Together with carbon capture and storage (CCS), these technologies have the potential to reduce CO2 emissions by 10 million tonnes a year by 2030.

This event has now concluded. Please replay the webinar below.
