JOIN US

The Environmental Industries Commission (EIC) champions new environmental markets to Government and other stakeholders, representing the views of around 200 members.

Membership provides access to our eight groups across all environmental topics, exclusive access to our roundtables with senior policymakers and political leaders, access to funding opportunities and the chance to shape the joint ACE/EIC Net Zero campaign.

All of this helps your company to raise its profile and positively influence the sector.

Membership is available to any company with a registered office in the UK and is charged on a sliding scale based on your turnover, making it affordable and accessible to any company, no matter the size.

SUPPORTING MEMBERS IN CHALLENGING TIMES

We were by our members side during the pandemic. Our covid webinars helped more than 3,000, while our pandemic advice finance, redundancy, and wellbeing was viewed more than 6,000 times.

We were a driving force in the Construction Leadership Council (CLC) and made the case in our weekly calls with Ministers, securing wins on furlough, loans, prompt payment, contract disputes. We also welcomed members of Defra's pandemic response team to our group meetings.

HELPING YOU DELIVER A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE

We influence constructively on your behalf – recent member wins on Net Zero infrastructure planning, the HM Treasury Green Book and the Environment Bill – clearly articulating the voice of environmental sector to policymakers and the media.

We help to get technical regulation right – detailed work on asbestos, the Definition of Waste Code of Practice and technology accreditation on air pollution control, have resulted in member wins.

CREATING OPPORTUNITIES FOR GROWTH

We create links between large consultancies and SME green technology providers who can help deliver their designs. In addition, we share SME procurement opportunities through our workshops with clients, such as Highways England

Wherever they are based, SMEs receive dedicated support thanks to our recently published SME guide to Net Zero, with versions exploring opportunities for members in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
