The Environmental Industries Commission (EIC) champions new environmental markets to Government and other stakeholders, representing the views of around 300 members.

Membership provides access to our eight groups across all environmental topics, exclusive access to our roundtables with senior policymakers and political leaders.

All of this helps your company to raise its profile and positively influence the sector.

Membership is available to any company with a registered office in the UK, with subscriptions are on a sliding scale, making it affordable and accessible to any company, no matter the size:

Consultancy companies are calculated based on headcount, and is a joint membership with the Association of Consultancy and Engineering (ACE),

Non-consultancy companies are charged on a sliding scale based on turnover.

We influence constructively on your behalf – recent member wins on the industrial strategy and recognition of clean energy as a key growth-driving sector, and a circular economy strategy and updated Environmental Improvement Plan expected in Autumn 2025 – clearly articulating the voice of environmental sector to policymakers and the media.

We help to get technical regulation right – detailed work on the Definition of Waste Code of Practice, and the Nature & Biodiversity Guide for Development, have resulted in member wins.

UNRIVALLED ACCESS TO GOVERNMENT AND POLICY MAKERS

Our groups welcome speakers from across government departments and other key organisations, including Defra, DESNZ, the Environment Agency, the Climate Change Committee, and the Circular Economy Taskforce. We regularly engage in partnership with government departments and the ministers that lead them, such as the Environment and Nature ministers.

CREATING OPPORTUNITIES FOR GROWTH

We create links between large consultancies and SME green technology providers who can help deliver their designs.
