EIC curates new programme mixing online and in-person events.

EIC has launched a new member event programme for the rest of 2022 mixing online and face-to-face events.

Following feedback from members, the new programme has been designed with the primary focus to add value – ensuring the curated programme of online events provide tangible insights and take-aways, and in-person events and awards create opportunities for collaboration, networking and industry celebration.

Most events are free-to-attend for those working for EIC and ACE members and attendees will benefit from knowledgeable panellists speaking on some of the key topics consultancies face today such as delivering society’s ambitions around Net Zero and Levelling Up, as well as procurement, inclusivity and skills issues.

Our webinars are split in two. In conversation with... is a new series curated by our policy team bringing together members with a key industry stakeholder. Meanwhile, our Insight webinars provide attendees with the support and information they need to do business.

These are supplemented by a number of in-person and online roundtable events, many of which we will hold in-person. Finally, we will hold an in-person parliamentary reception in July, and as in previous years EIC will support the ACE awards ceremony in London in November – the first major in-person events in over two years.

Commenting on the launch, EIC CEO Stephen Marcos Jones said: “Following two challenging years owing to the pandemic, we’re delighted to launch our new events programme to help members seize and create the business opportunities that will help drive our recovery.”

Whether online or face-to-face, our specially curated events have been designed to provide your business with the support it needs to ensure you keep on top of the major issues facing our industry.”

Wednesday 18 May – The future of client-led R&D

Wednesday 6 June – Inclusivity roundtable: BAME
This roundtable will provide businesses with insight on how best to support Black, Asian and minority ethnic communities in the workplace.

Wednesday 22 June – In conversation with... the Department for Levelling Up
EIC welcomes a key industry or government stakeholder to explore recent changes to nutrient guidance on new developments. Book your place now.


Wednesday 13 July – Inclusivity roundtable: LGBTQ+
Following Pride Month, this roundtable will provide businesses with insight on how best to support the broad LGBTQ+ community in the workplace.

Wednesday 19 July – Post-pandemic: Delivering the resilient communities of tomorrow
Webinar to coincide with the launch of new EIC analysis exploring how we can deliver resilient communities able to withstand the impacts of pandemics.

Thursday 21 July – EIC Parliamentary reception: Green Recovery
EIC’s reception takes place in the Houses of Parliament and will explore green recovery with Rebecca Pow MP, Minister for Nature Recovery and the Domestic Environment. Book your place now.


Wednesday 7 September – Inclusivity roundtable: Neurodiversity
This roundtable will provide businesses with insight on how best to support neurodiverse communities (autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, ADHD, dyslexia, bipolarity) in the workplace.

Wednesday 14 September – BS 99001: Quality management for the built environment
A webinar exploring the introduction of a new quality management standard for the built environment, with a panel of experts including the British Standards Institute (BSI).

A new report exploring procurement from EIC’s Sustainable Smart Cities workstream.

EIC webinar exploring indoor air quality post-pandemic.

Wednesday 12 October – Inclusivity member guide launch
We launch our guide for members to help them build a more inclusive workplace at an in-person event in London.


Thursday 3 November – Consultancy & Engineering Awards
ACE’s prestigious awards event returns as an in-person ceremony in 2022! Hosted at a central London venue, the awards will celebrate the best people, projects and businesses, including Net Zero project of the year.
