HELP SHAPE THE FUTURE OF EIC

We’re looking for new representatives to join our Advisory Board. Nominate yourself or a colleague today

Following the refresh in EIC’s approach to advocacy shared in the Summer – designed to ensure members are best able to seize the opportunities created by the Environment Act – we are sharing new ways you can get involved in shaping the future of your business association.

We are looking for new representatives for our Advisory Board to ensure all members, no matter their size or focus, have a say in the future direction of EIC. The Board works in partnership with the EIC team to help unlock business opportunity for our sector while supporting all members in creating the green growth and jobs on our path to a more sustainable future.

After 13 years as Chair of the Board, Alex Tosetti has decided this is the right time to step down from his role. On behalf of everyone at EIC, I would like to thank Alex for his huge contribution to EIC over the last decade and more. I’m delighted he will be sharing his experiences in his new role as past Chair.

As a result, as well as new member representatives from SME and technology businesses on the Council, we will also be looking for a new Chair. All of these roles offer great opportunities to shape the future direction of EIC, support your industry at a crucial moment in time as we move towards a truly green economy, as well as providing a platform to raise your professional profile.

Our new Advisory Board will be made up of the following:

  1. One Chair – vacant
  2. One past Chair
  3. Six Chairs from EIC taskforces and groups
  4. One representative from a technology company – vacant
  5. One representative from an SME (fewer than 500 staff) – vacant

If you would like to put yourself forward for one of the roles, please fill out our short online form. Alternatively, if you would like to find out more, please get in touch with Natasha. Nominations close on Monday 31 October.
