Are we ready? Delivering Net Zero in the Built Environment is the output from the joint ACE and EIC group which was brought together earlier this year to explore Net Zero.
The zero carbon built environment that we need to create in the next three decades will be the sum of all the projects – both new build and refurbishment – undertaken between now and then. How ready is the sector to deliver net zero at project level? Do we have the tools to work with clients and regulators to effectively on the zero carbon transition? What changes do we need to see from Government?
With hard targets in place for society to meet, these are vital questions for anyone working in the design of our built environment, but will be especially interesting for business leaders who will need to oversee a transition to a new ways of thinking and working.
We’d love for you to join our panel of experts as we explore the findings of the report and discuss the big issues at our online launch on Tuesday 8 December 2020 at 11.00am.
Joining Matthew Farrow of ACE/EIC, will be Sarah Prichard, chair of the Net Zero group and UK MD of Buro Happold, Tim Chapman of Arup and Dr Louise Carver of Lancaster University.
